Built in 2018, this West Vancouver water feature brings a subtle, natural waterfall into a patio setting, adding life and sound without competing with the ocean view.

This small waterfall was designed to complement a stunning West Vancouver view, adding a grounded, natural element to an otherwise open patio space. The goal was to introduce the sound of moving water while keeping the feature low profile and in scale with the surroundings. Natural stone was carefully arranged to create a gentle series of cascading drops, producing a soft, consistent sound. The water feature is surrounded by detailed planting, adding color, texture, and seasonal interest while softening the stonework. Positioned near the seating area, the waterfall enhances the outdoor experience without distracting from the ocean backdrop. The result is a refined water feature that adds depth, sound, and a sense of calm to this West Vancouver outdoor space.
